How to stop the drink from bursting out after carbonation?

Follow the steps below to release the pressure from the carbonating bottle and prevent the Sodastream MIX® Sparkling Drink Maker from overflowing:

1. Use Release Dial to control the foam from overflowing.
   Remember: Control foam with dial. If it overflows, lock the dial again.
2. Turn the dial to Stage I. Pause & let foam settle.
   

3. Foam begins to rise – Wait a few seconds for the foam to settle.

4. Turn Release Dial to “Release Stage II”, and let the foam settle.

5. Unlock Release Dial. Pull Carbonating Bottle towards you.
